you can use the 200B's L20 engine easier than the 180B's L18 as the sump configuration matches the 1200. The other L series engine with the right sump is the Stanza L16, not the 1600's (510). Only real difficulty with the L18 is the dipstick location. You can bolt on the correct oil pickup and sump from the 200B/Stanza, but you have to modify something to get the dipstick in the right place - eg drill block or put a tube into the side of the sump.

79 onwards 200Bs struts and brakes (244mm Girlock caliper - same as Stanza) are a good upgrade for a road car. But I can't remember what spring size they have...

(200b or 180b reguardless). if its a coupe it would be wrothwhile grabbing the twin SU's and manifold off it.

The twin carbs were discontinued in Australia during the 180B's [610] model run. The last of the 180B SSS model used the standard single carb engine.

The Australian 810 model used the L20B engine, hence the 200B model name, & the twins were only used on the L16 & L18 engine as far as i can tell. Even the 910 [Bluebird in Australia] had the twin carb option only on the L18 engine in those markets where it was available. Twin carbs seem to have never been offered on the L20B engine.

the struts are useful as a base for some other brake upgrade options, if they're the large stub axle type. The standard 180B brakes are simply dreadful things with wierd angle cut pads designed to confuse apprentices...

I don't reckon the IRS is worth any money...
Certain ratios of R180 and R200 diffs can fetch a couple of hundred bucks, and LSD centres are certainly worth money, but the 180B won't have any of that gear!

I'd leave the thing alone unless you particularly want the struts for a Magna/Commodore brake upgrade.

on a side note, there are some 200B sedans with IRS in Aus.

im not sure about how you have to modify the struts to fit in, i know a few of my mates have put R31 struts into 1600's and 1200's very easily however they throw about 1 degree positive camber so camber tops are needed so im guesses if they fit then 200b ones should fit pretty easily. 200b sedans have a live rear so im not sure what to do with that, i know the irs rears that are in all 180b's but only 200b coupes are worth money. strip and sell?
