If you love your sanity..don't do it
Most 4age's inot 1200's are left hand drives
the 4age likes fuek injection and it wont fit in in you have a brake booster
you will have problems with a hydraulic clutch
so far I have spent $3500 doing everything myself aand still have 3 or 4 weekends work left
I should have put the money into a worked A15 and 5 speed.
If you decide to go ahead contact me...but dont do it

4AGE uses a distributor..it ends up in the 1200 glovebox and heater/demister box. This means modifying all that. That isn't easy.

It's almost always a FWD engine, unless you can get a Japanese RWD AE86 Engine.

This is why not many..if any people have done it. But someone else might say it's easy..but I doubt it.

Cheers,
Chris

Has anyone done the 4AGE to 1200 conversion? If so how easy is the conversion and roughly how much did it cost?
