did you bothe use the thingy ma jig that bends the douvalacky to make the whatsit work again

just fiddle with the wire thing on the left till it works again, this usually happens when you take the wheel on or off many times or fit an aftert market one

I had the same problem in my car a while back. can't quite remember how i fixed it, but it was just an ajustmet thing. (i think the little leaver thingy just needed to be slid up the column a bit.... no i'm not a the technical type either)

when you take of the wheel there is a little metal "M" shaped thing on the left hand side. This is bent so that every time the wheel lug thingys make contact they push down and cancel the indicators. try bending it again ever so slightly cause from my experiences they are a bit brittle. sorry for the lack of technical term but hey im not wheel fixy guy.

Not yet, but I will soon. So the corners wear down?

the little nodules that click the indicator off as you turn. get some shrink wrap and shrink wrap over them...

HAve you got an aftermarket steering wheel?

The blinkers on my 1200 ute dont self cancel. I've had the wheel off , but I didn't figure out which bit is faulty. Which bit do I need to replace???
Is it the corner bits on the mechanisim that wear down? should I try tweaking the prongs on the wheel out just a smidge?
Someone here must know, so i'm all ears.
