We do a similar event here, called The Festival of the Piston. Or The Festival. Happens on bathurst weekend. Last year we tried killing a Toyota Corolla, one of the boxy RWD ones. No one could get it to cook the tyres until I got behind the wheel. The trick...drop it in reverse. No ####, this thing smoked big time. Everyone had a go trying to be Tommi Makinen, it was great and no one gave two hoots about the car. Was good for a laugh and apparently it still goes, I think. Not bad for a couple of hundred bucks!

P.S. I won the burnout comp in the XB ute, looks great on video.

It's very much in the theme of "Volvo Massacre" from Sweden.

They need more powerful cars to make it interesting.

The $1.50 Sentra just doesn't cut the mustard.
