Thanks for the help guys. I might get some then. Only problem is that they won't reply to their emails I have sent as I need to know shipping costs to New Zealand. By the way, do you know if the sound proofing felt stuff works that well enough to justify spending a little more dollars?

have a chat to astro boy. He bought his from some place in bayswater, Perth (WA).
cost him $100 or something for the carpet, which included a few extra bits for the kick panels back of the cab etc.

here's his interior link

i got some for my ute about 2 weeks ago. i havent fitted it yet but it looks OK. i think its good that it doesnt have the holes cut because on some conversions the geastick wont be in the same position. Oh and i also ordered mine without the plastic high wear section on the drivers side as i hate it when these start to peel off. just looks tacky.

I got some years ago from these guys. You have to do a fair bit of trimming around the doors, kick panels etc. You also have to cut your own hole for handbrake and gearstick. My advice is trim little bits at a time, test fit, then trim some more. I got a bit carried away around one kick panel and it (just) shows. I also got some carpet for my XB ute from Queensland Moulded Car Carpets and this time I went a little slower with the scissors with much better results. Went for loop pile in the Datto, looks ok and hard wearing. Went for cut pile in the ute, looks great but doesnt wear as well as loop.

Cheers,
Simon

Has anyone bought new carpet for their 1200 off knox auto carpets in Melbourne? I was thinking of getting some but was wondering if anyone could tell me whether it was good stuff eg. the fit and so on.
