hey finn, shouldnt you car be faster? cause i'm doing 140kph over 400m

then two more questions 1) why are your extractors so long? mine stop at my flywheel.

2) what valves did you use in your head and how much bigger are they?

many thanks
nicholas

That is impressive for the stuff that has been done.
Nicholas. If I were you I would go to weber sidedrafts.
I do not have much experience, but do know they make a huge difference on power and of course fuel economy.

What the heck for fuel economy.
15 to 16 sec is impressive for a 1400cc.

Here I know of 2 guys that got the following:
1800cc volkswagen golf mk1
he put a audi 20valve head that is worked on it.
288 cam
and 2 sidedraft webers.
He gets about 14,4 sec on 1/4.

And a 92 volkswagen jetta.
with a 2 litre that has a worked head.
standard fuel injection
288 cam
he gets 16sec on 1/4 with racing fuel.

i marked out 400m and timed myself and ran a 17.5 at 140km/h which is not very accurate.
