Hi bumblebee_man, the A12 engine is one of the easiest ever to work on. Take your time and be careful with all measurements and it should turn out fine. For good results, you'll need the engine rebuild specifications. Any Datsun 1200 repair manual from the store or library should do.

Hello,
I have just bought a dat sun 1200 and i have to rebuild the engine, but i do not know any of the torque settings for the engine and i am not sure what to do. can you please help me.
