RE Bullet ones... The USA Supplier wanted to charge us$60 to deliver them. Total Cost ~AU$280. So I bailed on that. With the hope that I'd be going over there for work, and save some cash, and buy them while I was there. Haven't made it there this year. The other problem is that door mounted bullet mirrors on a 1200 are difficult to fit, as the are generally designed for doors that aren't "straight up and down", 240Z. They fit better as fender mirrors on 1200s.

I'll keep an eye open for another 240K drivers side mirror for you Neph. Look at keeping cost <$20/mirror.

If I'm going to use Second hand period mirrors, I'll be using Nissan ones.

Cheers,
Chris

i found two perfect chrome ones, L & R, at pick'n'payless in blacktown. payed about 15$ ea for them. they were off an old KE corolla or a gemini.

ive got a left side mirror now too (1st car with one) but i rarely use it..
also found an almost perfect rear-view mirror im still using and havn't touched since it was installed.

Ive discovered there are two kinds, full chrome and the matte ones. Defiantely want chrome (to match the one I have).

Dattodude: Are you after a chrome one or a more silver "Matte" style? Ive seen a few around here in the ACT at wreckers, next time I go can have a look for you. The problem for me is getting the drivers side!

I can swap you two passenger ones for a driver one

I know what you mean. The 240k one in your picture might just be painted with chrome paint.

It seems a little bit dull to look at.

These are a good design. I am looking for a Left hand one too. So if you find a supplier before me. Please ask about them.

You can get your black ones chromed up. Their is available the ability to chrome plastic ones these days. Just another avenue to explore if you don't find what your looking for. I've been trying to find good chrome mirrors for ages without any luck. If anyone has any suggestions then I'd be happy to hear them.
cheers
