If you were in OZ you could just pop down to your local parts shop for a JB4056 and all would be solved. This cyls has inlet and bleeder on end of cyl.
s-50100 s-51301 are Autospecialty #'s for this item.

Would have to make a fixture to keep the piston from popping out and bleed it with the nipple up. Then bolt it in the car. Should be the only time you have to bleed it.

How does one bleed that one on the left?

Thanks very much ddgonzal! The one on the left will solve the whole problem. Looks like I will need a new hose that's just a little longer to reach properly.

Sorry I'm so late to reply. I have not been able to log in for months. My new Norton Internet security firewall was not allowing me to log in and it was driving me nuts!

Glad to be back.

Ouch.

I'm not aware of one that would give more clearance. I'd be inclined to use a right-angle fitting at the cylinder to move the hose away.

Does anyone know if there is another slave cylinder I could use [from another car] that would give me more clearance here? I have added a Paceseter header to the 1608cc A15 in my B310. As you can see, the hydraulic hose to the slave cylinder is much too close to the soon-to-be hot header. Open in new window
