If you were in OZ you could just pop down to your local parts shop for a JB4056 and all would be solved. This cyls has inlet and bleeder on end of cyl.
s-50100 s-51301 are Autospecialty #'s for this item.

Would have to make a fixture to keep the piston from popping out and bleed it with the nipple up. Then bolt it in the car. Should be the only time you have to bleed it.

How does one bleed that one on the left?

Well, it looks like there are at least two, and maybe three or more styles of A-series clutch slave cylinders:



Left: 30620-H1601. Right: 30620-H1600

Ouch.

I'm not aware of one that would give more clearance. I'd be inclined to use a right-angle fitting at the cylinder to move the hose away.

Does anyone know if there is another slave cylinder I could use [from another car] that would give me more clearance here? I have added a Paceseter header to the 1608cc A15 in my B310. As you can see, the hydraulic hose to the slave cylinder is much too close to the soon-to-be hot header.
