81 200sx's are the ones for the live rear axle with disks. I know where there's one near by. hope it's there someday when i get to it.

Thanks for reminding me, I kind of had a brain fart heh. I guess I'll just be grabbing the front and rear brakes and such.

You can't use the rear suspension. Just like a 510, all the z-cars have IRS.

But the B310 front is independent, so you can use the 280ZX parts on the front.

Their is a bit of a problem. I went to the junkyard and found 2 280ZX's. But they are all rear independent suspension. How would I put it in my B310? It is a solid rear axle. Same for the front suspension, how would I fit it in?
Thanks.

On the 1200 it's the brake bias controller is that aluminum piece mounted on the firewall that all the brake lines feed into and out of. There's also an electrical sensor on top of it with a wire connected (it senses low brake pressure and turns the red brake light on inside the car). On the 280ZX I would suspect it's in a similar location, but I can't remember!

Thanks for the reply. Where would the brake bias controller be located and what does it look like?

Grab the whole front strut/brake assembly as well as the brake hoses and the brake bias controller unless you plan on using an adjustable unit. Also grab the brake master cylinder if it's the same style as the stock 210 one. There's no difference in the front suspension/brakes on any of the 79-83 280ZX's, it's the rear brakes that are different for 82-83, the later ones are better.

In a few weeks I'm going to go to a Pick Ur Parts down south of San Diego.

I know the 280ZX were in production from 1979-1983, but there seems to be a minor change somewhere so it is split into two types: 79-81 and 82-83.

What would I exactly need to be able to use the suspension and brakes from the car?

I know I'll prob have to grab the struts, springs, calipers, rotors, etc. What else should I get? Should I grab the parking brake cable too? And which years are more preferable? I own a 1981 Datsun/Nissan 210 2 door sedan.

Thanks
