Hi.

You will not be able to "see" the difference between a regular and a "heavy-duty" clutch.

You will see the difference if it's a fancy alloy pressure plate, or if it's a twin-plate or triple-plate clutch.

The Daikin/Exedy kits are pretty good in my experience.

The "heavy-duty" kits will not necessarily last longer.

Clutches mainly either wear out the friction surfaces, or from excessive heat, the springs in the clutch plate change temper, making the engagement shaky.

Basically, if you slip a clutch too many times at 5000rpm, the springy bits stop getting springy after a while.

If you aren't a grandma, then get a heavy duty clutch kit. The difference is mainly in the temper of the pressure plate's springs. Making the clamping force greater, and the pedal pressure a bit higher.

OK,
well I've read many times on this site about heavyduty and normal clutch and p\plates, but I havnt seen any.

Just wondering what the differences are besides that of the h\duty one having a longer life-span?

Oh, do anyone have pics, cause I'd like to see what the differences are on these sets.

Personally,
I've used over the years, Repco and Valeo kits and these seem the best in quality and value in my country, anyway.
