Are you still after an engine?

I have a A12 (early one) with ...
Ported head
Double valve springs
Stage 5 rally cam (perfect for road use)
polished rods
balanced bottom end

Its in the price range for you

I can't be sure, but have reason to believe it is a Reg Cook Rally motor.

Yes Gentlemen, I am after a performance motor. I am after something suitable for street use. I dont want to spend more than $2000, let me know what youve got and whats been done......

what did you have in mind? and what sorts of $$$ did you want to spend?
- I have a couple of engines, one race & one rally, both with good HP. to let them go I'd have to get some ok coin for them.

And it has probably been worked hard for years, but i suspect that what he wants is a 'modified' or 'performance enhanced' engine.
You gotta be carefull of commercial model engines. Some have been worked so much that they have been worked to death.
