bluebird (datsun 910) has a 5 speed that is pretty good and should bolt in place with no changes. 5spds also have a lower first gear to improve standing start acceleration.
don't bother with an Lseries 4spd unless it's a motorkhana car or a daily bunky.

on a L20B should i put a 4 speed or 5 speed.i'm just looking for the best for racing.i rather use 4 speed because its easy to miss shift w/5 speed.but i don't want 3000 rpm (three grand)highway cruising speed in forth gear.what would be the best gear box for the L20B ,where could i find it and will it fit in my datsun 620 pickup.thanks
