well yeah that must of happened. that hex nut came out and i just thought it was a sleeve. what should i do?

take the sleeve out (the nut like thing) then grab ahold of the brass part with a pair of pliers and twist and pull, it will come out

It turns out just like a bolt. Are you saying the hex-shaped metal outside part broke off from the rest of the sender?

hey guys,
ive got a bit of a problem. my temp gauge sender is stuffed and im wondering how it comes out?? i took out the sleeve around the sender but the sender is stuck in there! how does it come out!!?! the motor is an a12.
