I'd be there but I'm going to be drag racing at Ruapuna on the 12th.

Tim this whole event is not about the 'visual appeal', its about getting some of the boy racers into motorsport and taking them of the street. Also its not about a dress up, as this is a timed event not based on looks. I think that it is run under a club sport warrent and has the backing of motorsport NZ.

Ok the cost is $45 for standing 1/4 mile( I think that you get 3 runs) and a sprint of the track( 3 laps I think?). Its on on sunday the 12 dec and scrutineering is on sat the 11 dec. I have a copy of the supplementary regulations if anyone wahts to know more.

Drag n Drift..... sounds kinda like dressing up in womens clothes and sliding around.

This just confirms what I suspected all along about forms of competition that are judged on 'visual appeal'
