Stanza Struts with lowered 120Y springs and strut tops and new inserts
200B Discs
200B Girlock Alloy Calipers
200b Master Cylinder on 120Y booster
and run new ines they are simple to do just time consuming, and you can then even out your brake bias on the front discs so the right isn't pulling harder than the left!
i have nearly finished this converison on my 120Y coupe and will have photos soon!!!

The single piston caliper looks like it would work better then the twin caliper.

yeah ive got the boosted system in my 120y .....ican relate to your problem i had a 120y with a a14 twin su and amild cam with the twin resivoir with no booster it flew but didnt want pull up real well so boosted brakes are the way to go........but the single and double piston calipers also come on the boosted system ive got single piston on mine and are fine...

What brakes has your 120y got 120fly?

Mine has the early un boosted brakes twin piston front calipers and they are awful!!!!

Are the factory single piston front calipers with the boosted system any better?

my 120 y seems to pull up quit well with the standard disk brake try bleeding the system i also found that once the pads are worn half way the pedal seems to drop to much and thers not enough brake so change the pads more often .......also adjust the rear brakes this helps quit alot as the front has to do less braking so you have more control over the car if you have any drama let me know ive got some brakes on struts im in brisbane.......

Hello, just wondering if anyone has any idea what the easiest way to upgrade a 120y sedans front brakes to something better. I just had a hotted up a12 put in it and a new exhaust , about to get some nice carbies. But I also want the thing to stop! and quickly. Any info would be apprciaited.
