Hi,
I went to take my car to the muffler shop to get an exhaust system installed, but after running for ten minutes or so it started running roughly, losing power, and coughing up gas out the carb throats. It seems to be using quite a bit of fuel and idling high, though I have adjusted the idle speed screws and the choke adjusting nuts on the bottoms of the carbs so I'm not sure what's wrong.
It is an A14 engine with a twin Hitachi SU carb setup (I just finished installing the carbs and the car hasn't been on the street since. Does anyone have suggetions about what I should check into to get my car running smoothly again?
