Good to see more origanal 1200 owners. Weve got every one on this list from the origanal owners like yourself, and people like myself that have only really been into them for a few
years. But we all love our 1200's just as much because there best little car in the world. Whether they be race preped turboed 1200's or stock standard 10000 mile on the clock 1200's.
They are all 1200s and thats what makes em so good. Welcome to the club...

I just discovered this club and had to join since I've been a huge fan of the 1200 since 1972. I really love these cars and it's nice to know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I've owned three 1200s over the years. A 1973 coupe, a 1973 sedan and a 1972 coupe which I bought new, drove for 100,000 miles, restored in 1982 and still have today.

When I was restoring the 1972 coupe in 1982, I bought a ton of parts from my local Datsun dealer. It got to the point that when I walked into the parts department, the parts manager
would smile and comment "Looks like I'll be going to Hawaii this year!" Appearantly Datsun was awarding vacations to top selling parts departments here in the US.

It seems alot of you are into modifying your cars. I have very little to offer in this regard, however, if anyone has questions on what is proper for a 1972 coupe (US version), I'm
at your service.
