The floor carpet sounds a little expensive, unless it is top quality carpet, you should only be looking at abot 3 hours to fit the carpet and underlay, and then pay by the metre for the carpet. everything else sounds pretty reasonable.

Frodaddy, its cheaper to get custom made carpet than to get molded carpet. PM me, I can recommend a trimmer in Christchurch. If you want you can see mine first for a quality assessment

i got mine from knox auto carpets too. fits fairly well... my tunnel is also twice the size of a stocker and i had no traouble fitting the carpet over that section, its the edges and stuff that require the work. hey how did you get yours engineered with a chopped tunnel?

Its not that bad. astro boy got some from the company over here in perth, and said they were tops.

only reason i didn't use them was because my tunnel is oversize aswell.

for $810 that seems very reasonable, on my old mini i paid $400 to have just the rear seat re moulded and new cloth to match the cobra recliers, then $450 for carpet and headlining....... pro works looks twice as good and the attention to detail will be owrth it.

Good thinking. I hate my moulded carpet.

I will get my stocker carpet (factory stock), and give that to a trimmer to copy, for my second attempt.

I will not be able to afford this until after the nats.
