I'd be looking at using a coil over kit on the front end, with small diameter springs of about 250lb's. I have Tociko (sp?) inserts in the front of mine, I am not sure, but I think they may still be available in the states.

In the rear, we cut out the top spring mounts, and replaced it with a flat piece of steel with a threaded tube welded to that so that we could have adjustable spring platforms in the rear also. With shocks I use Spax adjustables with 175lb springs, for the road you may want to go 150lb in the rear, although opur set-up is quite soft for a race car.

Once you have all that in place, add Nolathane bushes and adjustable strut tops and your ready to rip it up on the track ;)

Have fun

Shock / strut wise you can find koni specials, they are somewhat adjustable and good!, otherwise you'll have to get expensive custom ones from datrats.au.

I see struts/shocks on ebay periodically. Haven't found any springs except for King springs in Australia (lower a little bit - maybe 1 inch). You can get shocks and struts from rockauto.com according to their catalog.

Try the datsun 210 Yahoo Group. They're more geared toward the 210/B310s than this site, though I do get lots of info here on the engines because they're all basically the same. But you may get more 210 specific help there.

I have a 1980 Datsun 210 with an built A15. I am looking for some suspension components. I am in need of struts, shocks, stiffer springs, etc... I am primarily using this car for road race and drag. What componets will work best with this and what size (spring rate, dia. and length) spring should be used. I am having trouble locating any of these. Can any one help?
