car is not running rough or anything, its running fine when the "pinging" noise occurs.
replaced the stuff just for normal servicing...

is it running rough or missing when it pings? check for excessive play in the dissy shaft.

if not, its hard to imagine how it could be pinging if the timing is correct, as you say. maybe the noise you're hearing is something other than pinging?

why did you change all that stuff at once - was there a particular problem you were trying to fix?

I replaced the spark plugs, dizzy points, cap, checked the idle, mixture and ignition timing (spot on)also new batch of fuel and Im still getting this pinging noise. Tried retarding the timing and same noise.
Valvle clearance needs adjustment?
