The original mirror on your 1200 was a rectangular grey plastic item,this was also fitted to 120Y's and 240K's.
If you wanted a left hand one this was an option.
Most of the Datsun Sunny's came std with a left and rh mirror the only difference was they came chrome plated and do look good on a 1200

mate not sure what original ones were like was hoping someone would tell me. Problem I have is i got an awesome set of crome bullet style mirrors but to see out them you cant open the 1/4 glass window. and in qld i need as much air as poss. so anything that looks like its from the era of the car, original would be great but just something similar would do also.
how much you want for yours. my brother in law is in Melbourne now around franskstone area. is that close by???

i have a 78 1200 ute and would like a set of original door mirrors left and right. if this is impossible does anyone know if they make replica aftermarket new mirrors and if this is also to hard what does everyone put on there utes???????
