if anyone who has done a seat swap to a Sunny wanted to post pics of what the rails and stuff look like after they'd done it, that'd be nice. I'm looking around for seats, and it seems that the ones that look closest to fitting are either S12 seats or Stanza seats.

This is what my floor looks like:

I saw a sunny once with honda integra type r seats. Not sure what the owner did to install them but they looked snug in there as if it were factory.I actually have honda civic seats in my sunny but they are too high 'cause my head is always touching the roof.

it's been such a long time since i had it done that i can't remember the exact reason, but i think it had something to do with the spacing of the tabs themselves.best way would be to get a set of s12 runners & try them in the b310,
to see if a little bit of modification would work.

S12 Gazelles, you say? Thats called the S12 200SX here, and they are abundant for sure, and they have nice seats. Is the welding on of the tabs absolutely necessary, or do you think the stock tabs can be adapted to fit? I can drill, cut, and bend metal, but I can't weld anything where I work (maybe if I was lucky I could get someone else to)

Are the tabs totally incompatible, or was it necessary to adust the length of the runners or what? Thanks for the help :)

The car is an '82 Datsun 210 wagon that I'll be bringing home this summer, which appears to be a Sunny/b310 in other places. I'd love to put N12 Pulsar seats in it, but I need to keep them in my '86 N12 Pulsar NX ;) I also have a '91 Maxima SE5

It's a pain to put different seats in sunnys because they have very un-flat floors. I did it but it required cutting and hammering some. the results are pretty nice, but the roof on the sunny is kinda low, and that's my one complaint is that if i cut the floor out completely and re-did it it would be perfect.

what i put in my sunnys are seats from s12 gazelles.they have the kick up in the base needed for the different heights of the floor.i got a friend to weld the sunny tabs on to the gazelle runners.another source could be 200sx's,which is basically the next s chassis along.if you can find a boy racer whose just replaced his seats with racing seats, you might be able to get them cheap.notice all the if's & might's in that statement.thats just to protect my ass if it goes all pear shaped. oh yeh,i forgot to put one of these little buggers at the end of the line to tell everyone i was having a joke.

I put R31 skyline (aussie model) seats in mine they could be a bit more suportive , but they are better than orignals and the best price - free
a bit of mucking around fitting.
good luck
