If you have the opportunity to buy one already converted I'd say take it, as it'd be difficult to get all your money back if you did a conversion yourself.

Wire in the computer, hook up the tailshaft (getting one made up, upgrade the fuel system best to encorperate a swirl pot in tank or a external serge tank.
You then need to install a clutch master and hydryolic clutch system.

Thats a basic install guide it's not that easy because with every solution you have to over come a problem it usually promotes a new problem.
Oh yeah don't forgot to upgrade your radiator etc.


If it's an after market ECU get it tuned and registered then drive

hey all i seen alot of ppl do the conversion but does anyone actually have a write up about what had to be done from step1 until putting it onto the road?? any help is greatly appreciated!!

im buying a datto 1200ute with a ca18det and its already sitting in the car with the MAD DAT crossmember already.
