well the thumb impression is starting to fade a bit, might have dissapeeared by the time the next cruise comes around (see boofs thread) but at the same time a 6month old makes it very hard time wise to do much else

Post pics, it's cool to hear about other cruises that people do, and to see things work out after lots of planning.....

oh and guys, try a bigger cruise next time, a good all dayer, 9-5 thats the ticket, 500 odd k's and a nice hot meal at the end. nothing better.....

I SOOO wish I could have made it...

I, unforunetly, was bedridden for most of Saturday, with angry Wisdom Teeth...

Oh, & don't forget my Midnight Madness cruise in late September. Its shaping up to be BIG!

yeah i was very impressed with the "GX1200" off boofhead. i was talking with my mate in the car and we realised that i had near on three times the power that you did at the wheels but i was doing my darndest to keep up! my car just didn't feel safe sliding around wet windy roads. the straights were good tho! just shows you how much fun a well setup car can be. my handling issues are on the backburner to the other fifty projects i have going at the moment.

CA rallycar... you know you want to...

great day out for those who were able to remove the thumb from their forehead or from out of their arse and turn up!

(will wait patiently for a 1200rc response re: the weber Vs efi battle )

not sure what you are reffering to really?

i was very impressed by the mumbo of that 1200cc powerplant you have

and a bit dissapointed mine wasnt quicker, would love a bigger zuast as i have big power at 3000rpm but it never seems to build into higher revs, may also be to do with injectors running at 100% at 4000rpm

but damn the sound of lagwagons beast had me thinking time to go CA

i was happy with how smooth mine ran all day, only hiccup being that i managed to empty the surge tank up one of the bigger climbs, and with the way my high psi pump is mounted this meant re-priming the pump on the side of the road

t'was a good day although there were only the 4 of us for the run we did, i reckon it worked a treat thanks to dattogal for gettin the ball rolling and mad120y for leading the way.

the lagwagon went good, even when facing the wrong way and well off the side of the road
mad120's 1600 was a decent pace setter thru the twisty bits,
and the coupe of 1200rallycar ran smooth for the whole trip

as for my little sedan, thanks for the praise dattogal, i reckon the twin webered a12 well and truely held its own and i'm over the moon at the way she accelerated and handled for the whole trip (my cruise tallied around 600km) with the only hiccup being a loose carby linkage

(will wait patiently for a 1200rc response re: the weber Vs efi battle )

oh yeah ..... sorry, no pics as there was nothing you guys haven't seen before
