problem solved, just took the springs out and cut to the same size as a std set of 1200 springs less an inch or so.
Did one tonight and will do the other side in a day or so.
cheers Ade

The rear coils off a 240z will fit but you'll have to cut a coil or two to adjust the ride height for your wheel and tire package.

thanks guys, So far the swaybar that I had powder coated did not fit and now the lovely black springs as well.
I just had a look in my photo album and the side shot gives a good indication of the angle that it is sitting.
Oh well I need to swap the ball joints anyway
cheers Ade

pretty sure the 120y springs are taller than 1200 ones and even the strut body of the 120y is longer than the 1200 one

Yeah mate it would definaely have to be the springs are wrong. I put new gas inserts in and it didnt really raise up noticeably. Good ol Rip Every Poor C*** Off as you call it can get you lowered or standard king springs for $120 or $95 with trade discount.

Cheers
Daniel

Hi Guys, my 2 door is sitting all stuffed up it looks like it is driving uphill.
I have fitted all new front suspension and I think I have fitted 120y front springs does anyone know if the std 1200 springs are lower than a std set of 120y ones.
the back is sitting quite low as I have the original sedan springs with a ute diff and a set of gas shocks but the front is way up there the gap between the wheelarch and the tyre(std 155sr12) is 135 mm.
I have not fiited the swaybar or the trackrods.
the engine and gearbox are in but as yet have no fluid but the suspension is as hard as a rock so is ithe springs or the new gas inserts ?? give me some ideas
cheers Ade
