Yes, at the wreckers here in western Washington (Pacific Northwest).

A15s were quite common in B310 wagons, 1980-1982. Some of the KB310s also have A15s.

I'd wait for a better deal, and go with an A14 or A15, a weber/ford carb and 1.75 inch exhaust. If you put an A15 in your B110 or B310, be careful about the transmission. The 56-series tend to break behind A15s.

On the other hand, building up an A12 would be fun, but I don't think it will be faster (for $600).

HOLD OUT MY MAN A DEAL WILL COME YOUR WAY SOONER THAN YOU THINK.
I SCORED AN A15 PLANED PORTED POLISHED DOUBLE SPRINGS BORED 2 1580 ETC 5 SPEED BOX OVERSIZE RADIATER, OIL CATCHER, TRANSISTER IGNITION, TWIN 40'S 32MM CHOKES 4 $650 WITH ONE YEARS DAILY DRIVING AND ON START UP IT SMOKES LESS THAN MY PREVIOUSLY OWNED RECONDITIONED STOCK A15 WHICH INCIDENTLY WAS AS FAST AS MY MATES TWIN 40ED 1200(1500HEAD). i'D NEVER GO BACK TO MY STOCK A15 it was good for what it was but but can't compare with what i'm runnin now. I reckon you should hold out for a deal or save your dollars, cause if you settle for less you'll just end up upgrading, unless your using it as a daily driver and fuel cost's are a factor.

$600 for a full reco is a pretty decent price. Mine is a complete A14 block with no head. $100 and its yours.

A14 is a better option due to the increase in size. It not only has more horsepower but also alot more torque which is essential especially in the sunny as its a heavier car. Dont spend $600 on a stocka. A fella on here a few months ago advertised a complete A14 including gearbox(and it already had some work) for $200. i know you may not get a deal like this again but just wait around and see. Dont work the a12 either without a rebuild otherwise you will run into troubles when you start to rev the hell out of it as its already worn.

Advise is to go A14/15 if you want it to go decent for less $$$. Put it this way a stock a14/15 will beat a mild a12 and still be easier to drive.

PS. I have an a14 short motor but would require new rings and possibly pistons. Its apart so you could check it out if you want.
