hi all..
yesterday test drive.. morning still ok
then after work when i wan to go back
it seems like no choke at all..
(Dono why .. choke plate stick there?)
anyway its good that no choke i also can start and drive (but must not let rpm drop too low)

ocphangaz :
reminds me of old days, where the temerature never goes higher then 2 lines mark on warm engine.. where now in afternoon the temperature must go and constant at half the meter...

spray water mist to After the filter element and before the Carb throat,

so far for crazy ideas, i've put ice into the water tank to spray during hot afternoons! That REALLY cool the engine down especialy it reaches 36C in the afternoon here.

oic... spray water to which part??

btw.. hi everyone
today i just turn the knob 2 and half notch clockwise.. :D
well.. fast idle now lower...
and after about 7 minute the engine rev lower to stable 1100rpm
(but my normal rpm is around 900)

so i guess the spring is wear out ..

basically B310 is only called 120Y in few countries.. in USA 120Y is B210

anyway, the engine will shiver due to icing of the carb. once the engine compartment warms up, everything's ok...

you can try be cold start the engine for a couple of minutes, then off the engine... touch the carb and compared to the manifold... you'll feel the manifold is sloght warm, while the carb is cold... kinda like beer cold...

or you can do what i do... water injection :D
since mine's a manual spray type of water injection... during cold start, when the engine starts to shiver, i'll give it slight throttle (still shiver) and a few squirt of water ;)... that will smoothen it up a bit. Use full when driving during cold mornings and no time to warm up the engine

you don't need the choke in our country...

I've even removed the choke cable and put a starter button there :D

oic... if no parts will be fall off..
then will be easy for me. :D
(my mechanical skills not good so
sometimes i cant put some complecated things back)

mine not have 'anti desieing solenoid'

it is good to have manual choke, kinda miss my old A12 .. :)

so i think later i try turn it clockwise one or 2 notch first.

i meant just adjust it so its permanently open via the screws and flaps..... and dont connect the power except to the anit desieing solenoid.
ant wait for 32/36 with a manual choke, never had a problem with manual chokes.

No need to disconnect it. Just turn it clockwise until it permanently stays open.

It's easy to take off. We only worry about the three very small screws on the outside, and the three washer things on the screws. There's nothing on the inside to fall out.

oh...
so half hours of warm up seems abnormal.
by the way i just check the lining on the cover, it is on center mark ( is it the factory set it to center originally? )

btw, also check the wire, the 12v wire works fine.

thanks for the info. (cause last time i check out the tech section, i am confused about 'more' and 'less' , cause i thought more meanse the choke leaf close more)
i will try turn it first.
So after it warms out i will take off the air filter to check the choke leaf..

btw, taking off the choke to check the spring.. is it many parts will comes out when i take off the cover? sometimes i affraid i cant put them back.. :)

unfamilia :
and also weather here is not so cold also
how to disconnect the choke? i might try it if it works fine..
