Try using the CA20E throttle body. I have pictures in my photo section, check it out. It uses a very similar TB to the stock A series EFI one, but much larger butterflies. You should be able to use 280ZX turbo fuel injectors, they are the same style as the original A series injectors and should flow way more.

and then theres the other stuff, exhaust fuel pressure

time to get to the drag and stuff though, as im happy enough to run it and see how it goes

My manifold is round and I dont have a stock TB its off god knows??? I am plaining to change mine to a RB20DE throttle body as the bolt holes match up.

Can you take a picture of your manifold inlet?

(i have the stock twin throat TB still though this looks TINY)

that dude in NZ (sorry mate strugling to remember name) had a stock one which has a larger single butterfly, which could be a better option... if i can get one..

I hope that answers your question and send me that stock throttle body!!!

damn, i was gonna say an air leak between your turbos and inlet. if i was you i'd stop turfing money at it and start doing small cheap things to gain your power. port the manifold. largen your exhaust. get some injectors from another car (370cc CA18DET ) and fit them. then take it to get it tuned somewhere that knows what they are doing.

WOW!!!

thanks for the tips, read em, then went out and had a tinker

i noticed a small hole in my intercooler pipe to manifold flexi hose, so i pulled it off to notice a big gash in the under side of it, leaking away all my precious boost

replaced that, and she is running SWEETER than ever!!!

on 9psi, feels fast, near if not as fast as carby was, im inspired to go driving, i'm off for a hoon

cheers fellas

If the wastegate actuator was shagged.......wouldn't the boost just keep rising?? If the diaphram was leaking..it would not open the waste gate thus boost would rise???

Maybe your exhaust is restricting the amount of boost created....restrictive exhausts have been used as crude boost control methods in ancient times...

As for the intake...its possible to get a better ratio than 1/4 throttle = WOT, by simply changing the diameter of the cable pulley?????

Does your car actually run above 4000 RPM...If not, your maxed out injectors may be causing your air fuel ratio to be going lean....causing your engine not to be producing enough heat to increase the boost level???(not sure how much sense this last point makes?

Could a restrictive air filter be causing your boost problems????

If your not running an effective air filter...maybe your compressor blade has degraded???

i don't know of any adjustable FPRs at wreckers - your best bet is to visit VPW's website and order a Malpassi 1.7:1 or so - these guys are tops and i have bought heaps off them at always the best prices.

re: boost issues - maybe your wastegate actuator is shagged the same way distributor vacuum advance mechanisms shag themselves sometimes.

i hope you welded some crush tube inside the RHS where your bolts run thru or you may find they'll pull thru in a hard accident - and trust me, wide washers fold real easy when RHS splits around mount holes...

I made an adapter plate and run a VL/RB30 T/B for a while but was too sensitive , due to air flow 1/4 of the pedal = WOT
