thanks chris,
i have replaced the temperature sensor and also the airflow meter. still the same symptoms. Also not getting any power to the idle-up solenoid. I have a feeling my increased fuel consumption was due to this computer problem also.... justin

Pull the top off and see if the chip has been tampered with. Maybe yours was chipped for a bigger turbo or something. Could also be a faulty temperature sensor, with it telling the engine it's cold, and it never going off cold-start or something.

Check these things if you have trouble finding another ECU. Going price for ECUs is $100-$200.

I need a computer if anyone has one - mine is making the injectors open for 10 micro seconds longer than they should! I am willing to pay for it and postage of course.
message me here or text me on 0400 285 727.
thanks, justin
