Hi guys, first post here. originally on OZDAT.

Im buying B20 ute in about a week! It has a A12, 13" mags, drop tank, restoed intirior and NO RUST! well no structural rust that i could see anyway! He wants about $2500 for it.

Anything i should look out for? Any cheap mods to get more power/fun out of the little ute? How much do these things weigh? If the wagons are only like 750kg, the ute'll be half that!(hopefully) mmm fun in the wet!

I also have a 260Z that im slowly restoring.

Cheers

Hopefully, these will help. These are from a right drive book, but only the switch is diferent I believe.

Be very carefull with the water control valve. Sometimes these become stuck & forcing it will only break the knob or the shaft.
If it is stuck, it can be fixed, but it involves removing the heater & dismantling it. The control valve is a simple device that can be dismantled.
Once it has been striped & cleaned, you will need a lubricant used tor domestic water taps [faucets] & an 'O' ring & it's as good as new.

On that panel, my 1000 wagon has a switch for the heater fan - 1 speed and a push button for windscreen washer spray.

It's obviously where the original heater fan switch went, but what this switch was used for can only be determined
by you, as Josh said, by following the wire.

I checked all of my factory B10 workshop manuals, but no reference to LB10 models, so there must be a separate left-drive book.
Hmmmm, I wonder where one could be found,... in English. [that rules out Okinawa & Holland] The search begins.

If you send me a blank e-mail, to allow me to capture your e-mail address, I will send you the only LB10 wiring diagram that i have.
It might be of some hellp.

Looks like it's not a standard switch... someone added something at a later date and you can probably follow the wires to figure out what it does or did at one time.
