Stop axel tramp, basicly what you guessed, the tramp bars give steady pressure to the diff, pushing the tires steadly to the ground as such.. on quick take off...

what do tramp bars do? I thought thats where prostitutes like to hang out nah seriously what do they do? my first guess would be to stop the diff from spinning down when you drop the clutch with mega horsepower at the sticky hot tyres?
