yea i was giving it a bit but nothing like i usually do. i will take the fuel filter i need a new one so it could be that.

I would check the ignition coil too, sudden dying of the car can often be related to ignition - check all leads coil, distrubutor, check condition of ignition coil...

Yep sure sounds like a blocked fuel filter to me.

Take the fuel filter off, and make sure fluid runs through it. It might be blocked, which can cause symptoms such as you describe.

hey guys i am having a bit of trouble with my motor in my ute. its a stock a12, i was driving around home tonight doing burn outs not really flogging it though and then when i was just driving normaly it started to cut out like it was running out of fuel then it just stopped. and i still cant start it it turns over starts for about 2 secs then dies again. could it be a fuel blockage or sumthing? there is heaps of petrol in it to.

any help would be appretiated
