this story missed something... his darkside actually. i read this off a AE86 website...

it seems that after he got his ADVAN AE86 (TRD Tuned), he used the car for illegal downhill and uphill races (same as initial D). coincidentally, it was filmed and his license was provoked. that is why you see him no longer races, just doing reviews and promotional shows.

for initial D fans, in the first stage, you can see a scene where takumi's father called a racing friend of his, you don't get to see his face, but his famous Green Racing suit anf Green Helmet was in the scene ;)

Inital D, dose that come in english besides subtitles? Its annoying haveing to read and try to watch at the same time. Where I live, right after initail D came out the streets got flooded with "AE86" well a corolla Gt...

Say, Mildman so is this like a rally event you were at that you passed a r32? Seems like you have alot more event like thouse compared to here, or i just dont kow about them.

This means the Initial D cartoon could have been more historically accurate by have Takumi (the Kenchi parallel) driving a B10.

Now that would have been funny! A Datsun 1000 beating a R32 GTR on the downhill....

So far my most amusing Datsun story was passing a R32 GTR down the hill at Sandown....he he he - he wasn't happy and he took off at the exit of the left hander at the bottom of the hill...factory brakes mind you.

The Drift Racer
They laughed when they saw him sliding around corners. That's not a proper line! they derisively shouted. That's not "real" racing, they said.

Then, he showed them how to win.Quote:
