What about the sunny 5 speeds, does the 4speed parts fit, I have 2 I would like to rebuild.

Some parts will, syncro's, springs and shift plates etc some parts wont, Main shaft etc. You will have to be more specific with your question to get accurate answer.

The girls gave it a matt black paint job, for a bit of camoflage, my 12yr old daughter took it up to a mate place 3km from our weekender, she just parked out the front & got out when the local cop went past giving a nasty look at it, she was lucky it was the october longweekend, no licence, no rego, but I don't know how they would take double pionts off a 12 yr old. Doh
We have given it a good flogging around the bush for the last 5 yrs, all my mates kids have learnt to drive in it, we go spot lighting through goats on the bonnet till we get back, there is a hole under the drivers seat the size of a football, we take it on full on 4wd tracks & have always got out, even with a heap of fire wood towed behind.

Thanks for the gearbox answer.
What about the sunny 5 speeds, does the 4speed parts fit, I have 2 I would like to rebuild.
I bought the old coupe for 100 bucks just for the motor, but the kids (and me) have to good a time in it to pull it apart. I also have a sunny, that the kids drive around the paddock.
I run GX's in 3 of my morries & have always loved the little bullet proof motor, my first car was a 120y coupe, my brothers first car was a 120y which was my old girls before that, my missus's cousin runs an A15 in his litre speed car at parra speed-way.
Go the dato

Hi Trev,
Welcome to this FANTASTIC club. Lots of info here for all to share.
To answer your question - yes most of the 4 speed syncro's will intechange with your 5 speed syncro's. Selected other part will also change across, Baulk rings etc.

Cheers.
