You should be able to lock the back part of the seat in any of several diferent positions so that you can be comfortable, so if yours can't do this, then there is probably something wrong with them. Obviously you need to be able to lay the back part fully foward to allow back seat passengers to get in or out, so the seats from a four door sedan or ute, which have fixed back parts, are not suitable.

It took a while to find, but this is the two door sedan with the 1200 coupe seats that I wrote of earlier. Looks OK too.
Check with Dodgeman to see how hard they were to fit.

The main problem is that the part you back is aginst is on such a angle that its almost impossble to lean on.

Congratulations on your first post, and for being a KB10 owner.

Good luck with the seats , they shouldnt be too hard to find, but many have gone to the tip in favor of more comfortable ones.

The KB10, its no ordinary car.

Seats from a 1000 two door sedan or a van can be used, but those from a four door sedan do not fold foward to allow access to the rear seat area. Ute seats aren't any use for the same reason.
I think that there is a picture of a green two door sedan with 1200 coupe seats in the photo album somewhere, so they must fit OK.
If you get some of these seats, get a motor trimmer to give you a quote to fix them and make them comfortable to sit on. It would be money well spent. This suggestion extends to Subwoofers too.

Speaking of seats, 1000 sedan seats are the world most uncomfortable things man has ever created...

What about 1000 Wagon Seats are they the same. I might be able to get my hands a pair.

Sorry man don't know where you can get some but if anyone offers you some from perth I need some too.

The seats are different from the Sedan and the 1000 ute and also different from the 1200 coupe from what i can gather.

Good luck

Benno
