another thing, i had to get a sleeve made, for 1 of the selector shafts, 1 of the 3 on the stumpy was smaller than the CA18 ( but i don't exactly know about the CA20 selectors), i went back to the CA box once people were breaking the stumpy's behind CA powered 1200's. Heath

i actually did it with the CA18 bellhousing
1. CA18det
2. CA18det
3. CA20
4. CA20
5, i think you find CA 20 and CA18 starters and sandwich plates will be the same, the CA box is stronger and has better ratio's.

Using the CA20e bellhousing on a stumpy 5spd for CA18DET ...

1. Which backing/dust plate?
2. Which starter?
3. Which t/o bearing?
4. Which shift fork?
5. Anything else you want to add

We really should have a tech article on this ...
