I'd make sure the crank "snout" is clean (prepwash) as is the flywheel.

Then I would oil the threads and go 70ftlbs.

When they are all done up, one by one, back them off 90degrees and re-torque. You just may be surprised how much further they "do up".

I haven't lost a flywheel. . .yet.

Has anyone tried studs? As in threaded.

make sure you put loctite on the thread AND the head face of the bolt as well I did mine to 60ftlbs
