Linc, Rear disc conversions are usually a good idea when putting in a hi-po engine(eg CA18DET), or to make a race car stop very well. The brake upgrade is usually accompanied by a large front upgrade as well, to around 10" or 11" vented rotors. I would suggest that the minimum front upgrade would be bluebird 10" solid discs. Brake conversions add a lot of unsprung mass to your suspension and for street purposes it is easy to go too far. If you are running an "A" series engine on the street I would suggest staying with a good set of girlock calipers and 9.5" rotors up front. If you think a rear conversion is required, try 1600 wagon rear drums? Hope this helps! What do you guys think? Paul
