720kg with cage and a minimalist approach to interior trim :)
i have since gone to town in many areas and hope that it get back on the road under 700 although there isnt a lot to remove in the 1000s but it did have big battery and steel diff nose, heavy mag wheels, rear seat, spare tyre etc

of interest was that the split was 400 kg front and 320 rear, not too bad
hope to improve on that too!

OK Sunday I went ot our tech day and wiegh in. The car and been scales in a few years and I wnated to check corner wieghts. So first: the cross wieght is off by 54lbs , no biggie there. But holy cow my car weighs 1764........could be the all the street gear, passenger seat and added bracing I put on in anticipation of some tarmac rally. The car gained 90lbs and I've ballooned out to a 146lbs (nearly 30lbs in 20 years).
Man no wonder why the 85HP wonder doesn't roar dwon straights.......OK so who else is driving a blimp??

Adam's 1200 Coupe has a 1500 ute diff which weighs about 9kg heavier than the stock alloy diff, a fairly hefty cage and a Toyota T50 gearbox which weighs 13kg heavier than the stock Datto box.
The car runs in the Improved Production class which means full glass, but no seating etc.
It weighs 768kg on the Queensland Raceway weighbridge with full oil and a full tank - no driver
The engine is an A series block running 1608cc so the engine weight is identical to a normal A series
Hope this helps

I was of the opinion that the 1200 coupe which won the IPRA nationals in 2005 weighed in uder 850kg WITH DRIVER. So I would guess around 770kg without driver.

And he is running an SR20Turbo.

It may have been 880kgs. Remember that sedans are lighter. If it was 880 then I'm at 1940 lbs.

I don't have the docs, but I do have a weighbridge cert in the car at my parents place.. It was 8x0kgs.

880kgs makes more sense, given your weights.

My cars minimum weight inc driver is 730kg with my engine capacity (under 1600cc)
Thats 1606lbs.
Car alone weighs 1364lb (620kg)

If I ignore class rules and just play in the hillclib and sprinty events we can take out as much weight as we like
My car could get to 550kg (1210lb) without too much trouble by using some lighter glass front panels, glass doors, etc.
Then we need to take 30kg out of the driver and make anther 50hp and we'd give those Escorts a shake up in U2L outright.
Some slicks would be nice for some more grip too.
