theres a ute here in South Africa dat has a v8 under it. Not road legal only for drags. the guy has to use trolley bars else the front lifts bout 1.5 or 2m of the ground!!!!

looks wicked n runs VERY strong.

sounds like alot of fun...im going to powercruise this year at WSID as long as my other car is ready(not a datto guys sorry its a turbo falcon)...this little datto will be out there (the new tailshaft should be made and in this weekend as long as nothing else goes wrong it will be at powercruise)

Ive got arough idea on what on what i want as a finished product .Probably never beable to rego it .But thats nproblem >I live 10 minutes or so away from willowbank and queensland raceway So trailering it to events wont be a problem ...Trying to do it on a budget .So the running gear will consist of a chev with a m21 4 speed with a modified diff (havent choosen on yet)Having a factory and being a spray painter by trade helps too.I the end id like to run a quarter mile and my girlfrend want to run it in the powderpuffs class at willowbank ...I was also hoping to take it to power cruise 07 for show and shine and other events they have there ........

there is a 120y owned by blacktown tyres...it has a 302 i think...it does a great burnout though....it won the burnout comp at WSID last time i was there

your bloody crazy. but it sounds like like your pretty serious, this is 1 car i would like to see, i think it should move to the top of the list though. r u gunna drive it on the road or track?

Yes im putting a 350 010 block into a 120y
with a manual. The project has only come together in parts so far.Just a list of what ive got so far ..........
350 chev 010 block crank ..rods
120y stripped and some part painted and rusty ones thrown away .
Modified magna dash to fit ......
So what started the bug my brother has a gemini with a 308 went for a ride up the highway and i was hooked on v8 again .
The chev came about when a friend whom races jet boats took his engine out and put anew block and other parts in it .......
So slowy this project will happen its probably last on my things to do list ...
But not forgotten about if i see something i can use on the project ,I will buy it and pack it away. So when i do have time for it im hoping to have everythig i need....cheers

ive had 4 about 12 months now really happy with it .it had 113000km when i got every thing was standard just been resprayed hsv quicksilver and trx wheels .r u the dude puting a v8 in your dat?
