I want one and at 105 kg from factory with ancillaries its not too shaby.
240hp is what is nice and in the uk 260hp with the stroker 2.3 crank setup.
Doesnt anyone else want one?
How many alloy non pollution 16vs where available from factory ever?
However I value your loyalty to the A series.

D, you read a lot of specifications about "wonder engines" ...

The problem with this "Cosworth" engine is that it is not a Cosworth engine. It's a Chevrolet engine with a Cosworth head. All Vega engines alloy. They were notorious for oil leaks and overheating. The Vega Cosworth engine gets a bit of respect because of the technology, but few want one ...

The Nissan A12 engine weighs even less, and can be run with no pollution gear!

I finally found the best engine to put in an old datto that has all of todays technology but from 1975.
Its all alloy, cosworth twin cam 16 valve and 225 pounds and can be run with no pollution gear!!!
The ugly chevy vega can donate all of its guts to our beloved dattos anyday!

Lucky people in the US can make some serious monsters.
DDgonzal pity you arent in California to take advantage of this running gear.
A cosworth engine with a cast iron block in Australia is available no cheaper than 10k$au and you guys in the states can get the full alloy version for 650 bucks with gearbox and lsd differential!!!
