ok so im thinking 205's is the go...

i dont have to run 15's for the drags strip as i dont have any wheels waiting for tyres...

lll have to get some wheels for the tyres so i guess any size rim would do.. although would want at least 6 inch wide..

but i may try that place in brunswick..

diff has developed a leak..so have to sort that first anyway before i think about racing.

go to stuckeys tyres in brunswick and buy some ex circuit race tyres. 205 60's should be easy to come by and they will actually give some grip, they usually cost about 50 bucks each. i have some 15 inch rims you can borrow if you need

Yeah I ran 205/50/15's on my previous datto ute. They were on TRX rims and went very close to rubbing on the springs.
You wouldn't get any wider without either using wheel spacers or going to the trouble of re-locating your spring perches. Unless of course Lag's old diff is a little shorter than a standard H165?

If you're only getting them for drags, get a higher profile, like 60's or 65's.

A) because they'll be cheaper, and
B) because they'll give you more traction when you let the air pressure down
