A12 intake is a round intake port manifold

A15 is an oval port manifold.

So you can't use A12 on A15.

Which reputable franchise are we talking here?

yeah the shop is a very reputable franchise. The extractors i think were a brand called manta. They seemed to bolt up to the head fine but left no room for the manifold.
Does anyone know if it possible to use a A12 intake manifold on a A15 head?

Maybe in AU, you'll have better luck getting things fixed.

It becomes a game of he said - she said and the shop rarely ever takes responsibility for breaking anything.

nope still haven got it started. i need a new inlet manifold first and then i will need new extractorst too. I am expolring legal options. when it comes down to it despite the fact they had to grind and bend, the car does not go because of what they have done. eventually i had to tow it home, cos they spent 2 days trying to figure out why it wont start, then tried to blame it on my carby.

BBB better buisness beuaru. they will nail a shops a$$ if the do faulty work on things having to do with cars. all shops that do work are liable. if they messed ur car up they have to fix it. if some dubc son of a b tried saying "we dont wanna hear about it" id go to his shop and knock his head in.
at least get your money back for the labor and flawed(dented peices).
