Trying to sort out the problem with the headlights being to close together. . .

Plumbing is gunna be tight. Headlight buckets are pretty close. May have to take a wedge out of the tanks to angle the outlets back.

I dunno if it is the right thing to do lag wise.

It's work like this that make me want to get another Datto and take time doing what you're doing. 25 psi? SICK! Seems we have plans on playing on the same page. I'm looking at playing in the 20-25 pound range.. This Datsun is AWESOME! Love it.

Ive been Ebaying some engine parts myself lately for something new next year just a little bit at a time so the minister of finances dos'nt go off her head ROFL. Im aiming for around the 300rwhp with 18-20psi and still be drivable!! thats going to be the challange drivability.

After some experimentation on the weekend, the best bet is to run an intercooler PLUS water injection. Reason for this is - the water injection sytstems are trigered by boost, therefore when cruising at low boost or partial throttle, the water injection is either not on, or on a lower duty cycle. This allows temps to rise in this state. On the dyno it looked like it would work extremely well without the intercooler, this was due to all power runs being at full throttle, therefore the water was on at all times - preventing heat soak.

Water injection allows you to tune more aggressively in the top end and make more power, while looking after the engine. After looking at the logging from the race car last weekend, I am planning on refitting a small intercooler and still run the water injection.

It's a Nissan Factory colour from the early->mid eighties.

Just got it off a Nissan colour swatch, and been happy about the decision ever since.

I'm running the 2.5inch inlet/outlet. It's not a truck, 3 inch is too laggy. Probably the same as the JustJap Coolers except I got it from the Sydney-based guys at Nexcent: http://www.nexcentpp.com .

you guys are talking about the Just Jap cooler right?
i got one and put it in the other week fits so nice, just like the one in the pic, granted my car is not as nice though.
i got 3inch end pipes but am planing on reducing it to 2.5 or 2 before the cooler and leaving it 3 after the cooler to reduce spool-up time.

Mine just came in the mail earlier this week.

cant believe they make them for the price they do. I opted for the 2.5" fittings as i assumed both turbo and tb were smaller than 2.5". I've thaught about it since and prob should have got the 3".

Anyway nice work, what turbo u running?
