Madtimo just the thought but you put it into action. I was thinking of how many nissan dealers in Japan would love this beauty or a nissan dealer in the city of Sydney or Melbourne next to a 350z.

I messaged this guy and told him what I thought of it, and as per my suggestion he has contacted Nissan, and apparently they are interested in the car.
I think it'd be great for this thing to go on display somewhere

I think that it is actually a very early '68 model.
It's hard to tell for sure, but it looks to be a '68 grille & I have some '68 brochures that clearly show that the '67 front guards & blinkers were used on the earliest '68 cars. The same brochure also shows cars with the definitive '68 guards & spear shaped blinkers.

That's a '67 steering wheel, but the floor shift is a '68 model [in Australia] item. Every '67 car that I have seen so far had the three speed trans with column shift.

Had the same smurf coloured car but it was a 68 and 23,000miles. It was mickey but its was the standard model with no heater, no mirrors on guards, no radio and no passenger sun visor!!!
It had 40,000klm when I sold it.

By the way has anyone worked out if the another radio is on the parcel shelf or did someone install an aftermarket aircon?
Can make out the pics
