Or you could use a spot weld drill bit.

It is a flat ended drill bit with a very small centre drill. You only cut thorugh the outer metal. Then you can plug weld the valance back on one repaired.

There should be 2 more mounting points the tongues under the valance. If you are replacing the panel just chop it off with a cut off disc in a grinder.

It looks like its already had a new one on it. drilling is the best way to get it off.

I use 10mm bolts to put them back on. There are two holes under the lights that you can use. at the bottom just drill two more.
easy to remove later on.

Is there any easy way to do this? Theres 5 mounting points ive figured out, 2 on each side and the singular one on the rad support bar. So is drilling out the welds the easiest way?

Sorry for the dark shots but are these the only points that need drilling out? And re mounting it im guessin just tack it in to the same spot then spray the thing or is it better to spray it before mounting then touch up wher the welds are?

& spraying the new valance, i was thinking 2 to 3 coats of primer then ill leave the sparying up to a family friend i know

Cheers
Dave
