ok, I sent off my registration today. I wasn't sure last week, but I was able to confirm mytrip to Tokyo is after Canby. Yahoo!.

Hope to see some cool vintage Datsun movie footage at the Saturday night dinner. Maybe they'll show that 1973 dealer promo, hopefully some of the Japan vintage race videos that Matbighat talked about?

No problem. They are accepting registration postmarked by the 10th.

It sounds like we will have cars from all over, plus Tens&twenties is flying from texas to join in on the fun!

Since you are so close (in Vancouver), you should attend the next club meeting and see what we are all about. Its the 17th at Tonkin Nissan in Wilsonville Oregon. There is a mapquest link on the club website.

BTW, I might have a lead on an oilpan for you. I will check up on it this weekend and get bak to ya.

I will be there, I am regisetering right now. The sedan still is no where close to being ready, (trying to locate a oil pan), so hopefully I can get the front clip swapped on the the new coupe before then.


p.s. if I send this in tomorrow will it be to kate as long as its post marked on the 10th?

Those guys are DIE HARD to drive over 1000 miles each way. They went to Slovang for the roadster meet as well.

It is fun to give them crap about their long nosed automobiles.

Apparently, the Triple SU setup Steve built ran great over the entire trip!

i hung out with steve & co. while they were down here visiting classicdatsunmotorsports. they asked if we were coming to canby, and my friend replied "that's too far to drive" and realized how dumb he just sounded
