well its definetly a 5 speed a56 which is the doglegged version and is quite rare, u can tell, if its got the ribbed case its the 56 if its smooth its the 60 series, what engine are u running it on, im hoping just the a12, cause the 56 is a bit weak for the a14/15.

Its definately a 56series then John. 1200s had the ribbed case 56series and 120ys onwards had the smooth cased 60 series with the bigger cluth hole.
The 1200 & the Sunny [120Y] GX had the 56 series. If the A13 or A14 was used, then the car was known by another model name, despite the fact that it would still be B210 based, & it would have had either the 60 series, or, as I believe, some US B210's had the 63 series.
All of the cars that were made with the 1200 or A12 engine, & were manual trans equiped, came with a 56 series box of one sort or another.[3, 4, or 5 speed]

My 56A five speed, the blue one in the picture, has the larger clutch cable hole, which makes it a JDM B210 Sunny [120Y] GX unit.

It might help if you mention which gearbox you have. 56 series or 60 series.
