Hey all for sound deadening use Flashtack you buy it in 10Mx96mm rolls at bunnings and stick it to the inside of your door then use a heat gun and roll it in cover all your door. i know it sounds dodgy and the packaging looks dodgy but for the same product at your sound shop you will save HEAPS...1 roll will do 2 doors. for more bass procuced by ur speakers using flashtack and 3mm wood cover in the holes were the interior trin is stuck to the doors the speaker can still berath thru the window seals...i have 2 soundstream Van gough 320.4 alpine 9855 deck jvc 6 1/2 splits and 5 1/4 (top of the line jvc's) they sund great with rockford Fosgate tweeters and an eclipse 10" sub sitting in the passengers foot well...Hope this helps

Hey all another idea im toying with for a sub is to make a custom fibreglass sub box up under were the glove box is...I will remove the glove box and put a pice of wood across and mould the box to the shape of the firewall...no one will see it and it will be hard as as the suport will be the firewall and the dash...

this is what i will hopefully be doing soon. under the back window in a ute it has the backwall that curves in towards the seats slightly. ill be expanding that and boxing it up and cutting holes inside the cab so you can fit larger speakers or subs? whatever? and it will also make a nice place to make a storage compartment. well thats what ill be doing soon as i get some spare time. hope that helps some people with ideas.

cheers
